Takeaway App
One of the easiest options for takeaway, especially when self-catering, is to download Guernsey's local takeaway delivery app food.gg, or head to their website. The app has a list of local establishments, organised by type of food, that offer delivery to your door. You can order from your phone, allowing you the night off to relax and spend time with loved ones. Some of the most popular eateries include The Italian Job, Thai Too, Himalayan Kitchen and Sitar.
St Peter Port
Well known for its excellent gastronomy, town offers lots of food options to takeaway. Some eateries will require you to pre-order and collect, whilst some do deliver Island-wide. If you're collecting we recommend parking on one of the piers and walking to collect your order rather than attempting to stop outside the restaurant.
Rouge
- Rouge is a wine, meat and cheese bar with well over 120 red, white, rosé, sweet, sparkling and fortified wines; and is also a cheese and wine shop. The team can design a custom platter paired with the perfect bottle of wine for you to takeaway if you would like head to the beach or cliffs for an evening picnic.

Rosso
- A local favourite, you will find some of the best authentic Italian pizza on the Islands at Rosso. Rosso caters to all dietary requirements, offering gluten-free and vegan pizzas, and all of their pizzas are freshly made and cooked in the hand-made stone oven.

The Hook
- The Hook is Guernsey’s premier sushi bar, seafood and steak restaurant. They offer a takeaway service for their sushi menu, available to pre-order and call on short notice.
- You can place your order via their app, or by calling the restaurant.
Fukku
- Inspired by modern Japanese street food, Fukku in the arcade in St Peter Port offers a unique dining experience. From ramen and poke bowls to tempura dishes and katsu curry, they offer a wide selection of dishes, including great vegetarian and vegan options.
- You can preorder food to collect on their website or visit their quick takeaway section inside, which includes a selection of sushi bento boxes.
Chefan
- A local favourite, Chefan, a burger-van-turned-restaurant, can be found in the Market Square. With excellent vegan burgers available too, and the ability to ‘build your own’ perfect burger, it is a great spot to grab a quick lunch or dinner on the go.

Coco Mini Brasserie
- Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with views out to Castle Cornet, Coco is a modern French Mini Brasserie. Whether you need to grab breakfast before a busy day or fancy a quick dinner, Coco caters to all.
- You can pre-order takeaway to collect via their website, or pop in and place your order at the bar.
Habanero
- Habanero is a vibrant, laid-back restaurant offering authentic Mexican ‘cocina’. With burritos, nachos, bowls and more, this is the perfect place to stop in during a lunch break to grab something to eat, either to sit and enjoy in their small dining area or take away on your travels.
- Takeaway is only available in-person to collect.
Muse
- Muse is a café and restaurant located just along the harbour-front on the outskirts of the main town. Offering a mixture of continental treats, delicious coffees and filling dishes, they have a smaller cafe next to the main restaurant where you can walk in and order a quick takeaway for breakfast or lunch.
- Walk in and collection only.
The Raw Store
- The Raw Store has a small, fresh, homemade lunch menu that changes daily, but always includes a curry or stew, a salad and a wrap as well as homemade sweet treats and smoothies. Grab a takeaway and head somewhere with a view to enjoy your food.
- You can pre-order via their website and have your food delivered in the GY1 postcode, or order and collect in store.
Terrace Garden Café
- Overlooking Victoria Marina, the Terrace offers a wide choice, from light bites to main meals, specialising in Thai dishes. They also offer sushi to takeaway.
- You can pre-order your food via food.gg to collect, or order directly at the café to take away.
Sawatdi Thai Restaurant
- Sawatdi is a family-run restaurant located on the seafront of St Peter Port, serving traditional Thai food with beautiful views overlooking the harbour. They use only fresh ingredients, catering to any dietary requirements. Order your takeaway and enjoy great food from wherever you choose.
- Call the restaurant for takeaways from 6pm-9pm each evening.
Waffle & Co
- Found in Clock Tower next to the Liberation Monument by North Beach, you can grab a coffee and a waffle with ice cream and all the toppings and enjoy the view out over the harbour. Their newest addition, an aero-stream van by the seating area, has a range of Berlin-inspired street food made to order.

Koi Koi Express and Takeaway
- Open recently in the summer of 2023, Koi Koi Express is Asian fusion restaurant, Koi Koi’s, answer to the lunch rush. You can go in and grab salads, drinks or hot food to go, all prepared with efficiency so you can get where you need to go quickly.
- Koi Koi also offer dim sum, sushi, bao buns and tempura takeaway options, perfect for enjoying some fusion food out and about, or back at your accommodation.
- Koi Koi Express is available to collect from the restaurant at lunchtimes, and you can pre-order takeaway to collect via their website.
Outside of Town
China Red
- China Red is situated just outside of St Peter Port and has been voted one of the best Chinese restaurants in the UK. Their extensive menu offers a fantastic section that includes appetisers, mains and traditional soups, noodles and rice. As well as their excellent dine-in experience, China Red also offers takeaway.
- Order your food via their app or call the restaurant and collect at a pre-selected time.
ATAN AHAN
- Serving traditional Thai food, expertly prepared with the freshest ingredients, ATAN AHAN create delicious meals and offer Thai grocery products if you want to cook yourself.
- You can collect your food or, for orders over £50, they will deliver.
Otto
- Inspired by childhood memories of Naples, Otto uses fresh and authentic Italian ingredients. They offer bread, pastries and coffee in the morning which can be bought and taken away, as well as lunch and dinner.
- Lunch and dinner can be ordered via their app or via the phone. Takeaway orders are 10% of the standard price.
The Pony Inn
- Classic pub favourites to go. From steaks and fish to burgers, pizza and more, the whole family will find something to enjoy from the Pony Inn, available for takeaway.

Good Rebel
- Good Rebel offers fresh, healthy and some rebellious dining options for breakfast & lunch as well late afternoon, early evening grazing / small plate dishes.
- For those looking for a quick bite to eat, the Rebel Hut is open for takeaway salads, sandwiches, coffee and sweet treats, Monday - Friday 7:30am-2:30pm.
Along the Coast
A Taste of India
- Found opposite L’Eree Bay, A Taste of India prides itself on genuine and authentic dishes, carefully blending spices, seasoning and flavours to create distinct dishes with Goan flair.
- They offer a takeaway service for collection only.
Crabby Jack's
- Opposite Vazon Bay is Crabby Jack’s, a family-friendly restaurant with an expansive menu that caters to all.
- You can order to collect, taking it back to your accommodation or onto the beach.
Beach Kiosks
You'll find informal eateries situated along our coasts. From small kiosks and ice cream vans to larger cafés, our beach kiosks serve everything from drinks and snacks to sandwiches and hot meals, and even provide a range of beach toys to enjoy. Relax sit in the shade of an umbrella in a kiosk garden or grab something to take back onto the sand.

Chip Shops
The perfect beach takeaway, take a trip to the coast and visit one of our fish and chip shops. Within just a few minutes of ordering, you can be sat on the beach or the sea wall enjoying this Island classic. There are several options across the Island so you can easily find this quick and tasty dinner option.
Some spots to look out for are: Forest Chip Inn, The Chip Inn, Northside Fish and Chip Bar, Cobo Chippy, Beetons Barista and Bites and L’Islet Fish and Chips.
